Why a Tech Power Player? For leadership in venture capital, startups, and technology innovation.

Eric Paley, a cofounder and general partner at the Cambridge- and New York-based venture fund Founder Collective, knows how to find a technology project with promise. He led early investments in small startups that became breakout companies, including ride-hailing giant Uber, the Boston-based wearables company Whoop, and the Somerville 3-D-printing company Formlabs, among others. Paley previously cofounded Brontes Technologies, a dental 3-D-imaging firm spun out of MIT and later acquired by 3M. He also sits on the board of directors at The Trade Desk, a media buying platform. Paley holds a bachelor of arts in government from Dartmouth College and a master of business administration from Harvard University.
