How do we memorialize the pandemic?

Carved from marble, stretching to 7 feet tall, this work gives the opportunity to acknowledge this difficult time, to gather, remember, share, mourn, and prepare ourselves to move on, always remembering the gift of survival while we honor those whose lives were lost.

In the end, what we have is each other and our common humanity. My work attempts to show the solidarity that comes from recognizing our collective loss and our common need to continue our journey into a future that is uncertain. We band together because we must. We are better together.
