As an undergrad at Harvard, Capodilupo was interested in the science of sleep and helped build mathematical models of circadian rhythms, realizing along the way that large datasets could tackle big problems in health care. After graduating in 2013, the runner and former gymnast joined Whoop as its first hire. She has since built a team of 30 researchers overseeing data science at the fitness wearables company.
