Will Ahmed is the cofounder and CEO of Whoop, a Boston-based company that developed wearable technology to promote fitness and health — whose products have been used by the likes of Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps and basketball star LeBron James. The main product from Whoop is a sleek, sensor-laden wristband that tracks users’ health metrics and provides them with detailed insights to help identify their best sleep, training, and recovery regimens. In 2023, Whoop released a new monitor that tracks and manages stress levels. Following a funding round in 2021, Whoop locked in a valuation of $3.6 billion. Ahmed cofounded Whoop while a student at Harvard University, where he earned a bachelor of arts in government and economics.
