As cofounder and chief technology officer of HubSpot, Dharmesh Shah has built the company into a multibillion-dollar digital marketing and software powerhouse, along with cofounder Brian Halligan. Shah is one of the region’s most active entrepreneurs and mentors, having invested in more than 80 startups, mainly enterprise software companies such as Okta, Buffer, and Help Scout. Shah also runs the blog OnStartups.com, which covers the software startup world, and co-wrote the book “Inbound Marketing: Attract, Engage, and Delight Customers Online” with Halligan. Before cofounding HubSpot, Shah was founder and CEO of Pyramid Digital Solutions, a software company focused on the retirement plan industry. He holds a bachelor of science in computer science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a master of science in management of technology from MIT.
