Casey “Coach Case” Staskawicz added resistance during an endurance exercise in March. “These kids are thriving and surviving, which is my goal, to make sure there is a space for everyone and that they’re taking something home that makes them feel good,” Staskawicz said.

Players lined the rink during a break. “I don’t have any kids of my own so I get to watch 50 kids grow up and become incredible athletes and humans — and there is great joy in that,” Staskawicz said.
